Jeremy Gardiner is Head of Māori Export Customers at NZTE, where he leads strategy and partnerships to help Māori businesses scale internationally. Prior to NZTE, he founded and led a number of start-up companies in the food sector, exporting into the Middle East, US and Europe.
Earlier roles include leading a Ngāti Awa's post settlement Runanga, work in PR/communications, and a Y2K stint in London’s investment banking sector. His core strengths span export strategy and market entry, stakeholder and iwi engagement, partnership development, team leadership, governance, and cross-cultural communication grounded in Te Ao Māori.
Jeremy has a BA (Public Policy) from Victoria University of Wellington.
