Guide to enrolment
The study section of our website has information on each programme of study, including dates, fees and entry requirements. Once you have decided what to study, follow this step by step guide to enrol.

Can I withdraw from a programme?
If you withdraw (i.e. stop attending class) from any Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi programme or course, you must notify us in writing.
A full refund of tuition fees will only apply if the withdrawal date occurred before 10% of the course duration has elapsed.

How do I enrol online?
You are able to enrol online using our student portal Urutauira. To start, you will first need to register for an Urutauira account which can be accessed via the enrol button at the top of each page.

Can I change my course or programme?
If you want to change courses or programme after your study has started, you will need to complete a Change of Course/Withdrawal form. So you do not incur any penalties, you must do this before you have completed 10% of the programme duration. For a Change of Course/Withdrawal form contact Student Administration and Enrolment Team.

Am I eligible to enrol?
In order to enrol on one of our programmes we need to verify your identity and your eligibility as a domestic student. In addition, you will need to meet programme specific requirements.

How does a Kapa Haka become involved with BMPA?
To become a Kapa involved in the degree you must complete a procurement document, a contract for services and a Mahi Aroha letter.

What scholarships are available?
Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi offers a range of scholarships open to those enrolling in full-time degree study. Applications are open at varying times during the year. Even if you have completed your enrolment for this year, you may be eligible for a scholarship in the future.

How can I fund my study?
You can get help in paying for your studies in a number of different ways, some of which you won't have to pay back. Loans, allowances, scholarships and fee free programmes are available.
