Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi brought together Māori leaders, scientists, and climate practitioners last Friday for the Koanga: Climate Change Summit 2025, a gathering focused on indigenous-led responses to the intensifying impacts of climate change.

Through a partnership between Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi and Te Pīhopatanga o Te Tai Tokerau, 24 scholarships will be awarded to support tauira studying toward the Bachelor of Humanities, with a distinct focus on Mihingare Studies.

Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi has formalised a strategic partnership with Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Beijing to strengthen academic collaboration and cultural exchange between Aotearoa and China.
