Wai Ora Certificates: Water resource management & conservation programmes

Study Wai Ora – Learn to protect and restore our waterways

Build the knowledge and skills to care for and protect our natural environments through the Wai Ora Kaupae 3 (Level 3) and Wai Ora Kaupae 4 (Level 4) programmes. Grounded in mātauranga Māori, these courses focus on the preservation and restoration of wai (water) — including rivers, lakes, streams, and marine environments.

If you’re passionate about the environment and want to play a role in protecting our waterways for future generations, Wai Ora offers a powerful pathway forward.
