The Auckland Region will move to Alert Level 2 from 6am on Sunday 8 March, and the rest of Aotearoa will move to Alert Level 1 at the same time. 

Our Whakatāne Campus is closed for the day and kaimahi and tauira are to head home. Kaiako will be in touch with tauira if needed and communicate any changes to programme delivery.

The Auckland Region has returned to Alert Level 3, and the rest of New Zealand to Alert Level 2, for seven days. The Government will re-assess the Alert Levels over the week, and we will provide a further update to kaimahi and tauira then.

Following the fire at the neighbouring Apanui School on 7 February, we extended an offer of help to provide some temporary teaching and learnings spaces at our campus

We have been informed that a staff member at our Whakatāne campus has been identified as a close contact of a close contact of one of the positive COVID-19 cases in Auckland.

The Prime Minister announced this evening that the Auckland Region is moving up to Alert Level 3, and the rest of New Zealand to Alert Level 2 from 11.59pm Sunday 14 February, for three days, until 12pm midnight, Wednesday 17 February.
