Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is an approved training provider appointed by the Real Estate Authority (REA), to deliver Te Kākano (the Seed) for the 2023 CPD programme.

Overview of Te Kākano

Te Kākano consists of three modules:

• Module 1: Te Reo me ōnā tikanga - Māori language and customs
• Module 2: Te Tiriti o Waitangi - The Treaty of Waitangi
• Module 3: Whenua Māori - Māori land

Course completion cost: $29.00 + GST

To complete this training, you have the following options:

• For individual learners: either viewing the video or attending a live webinar

• With regard to Small Group Learning, we recommend that you and your team attend one of the scheduled webinars or book a specific date to watch the pre-recorded video together. While still requiring each member to log in individually for answering all questions, by using the video option, you can pause it for group discussion and learn with your peers.
