Kai Oranga at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a unique learning pathway that combines Māori food sovereignty, māra kai, sustainable food production, permaculture, rongoā, and mātauranga Māori to help learners develop practical skills for healthier whānau and communities.

Whether you're new to growing kai or want to lead food sustainability initiatives in your community, Kai Oranga provides the knowledge, practical experience and cultural foundations to support long-term food resilience and wellbeing.
