Te Aka Pūtaiao has a blended delivery model including face-to-face teaching, online learning, directed and self-directed learning
There are three types of delivery modes in which this programme may be offered:
- Face to Face Delivery
- Blended Delivery
- Online Delivery*
Depending on delivery mode, the study may comprise noho, wānanga, tutorials, lectures, video conferencing, and online learning. The programme may be taught on campus, online, at marae or other Ministry of Education-approved locations.
Attendance: It is recommended that you have 80% commitment to all classes and scheduled noho wānanga.
- Commitment:
- 2x weekly online classes - Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6pm – 9pm.
- 2x Noho wānanga – (per 20-week programme) you will receive a detailed timetable upon enrolment in the course.
Noho Dates (delivered at Whakatāne campus)
Semester 1 intake:
Monday 2 February – Thursday 5 February
Monday 13 April - Thursday 16 April
*Indicates the class is taught completely online.
