Funfest 2026 and Tūhono South Auckland Careers Expo

Funfest Charitable Trust was formed in 2008 with the sole purpose of creating a free event for families of Auckland with a focus to bring families and communities together in a positive environment.

This is an annual event which has grown to an audience of over 40,000 people from all over the country and all ages. It is the only annual Auckland summer event with free entry, free parking, free rides and free prizes.

The event also includes an invitational day for children with special needs and their families.

Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi are proud to be partnering with Funfest to bring you the Tūhono South Auckland Careers expo promoting a range of pathways, products and services that encourage family wellbeing, health, education and careers.

The expo runs inside the Sir Wolf Fisher Arena over 5 days along with Funfest. Whānau can interact, engage and get face-to-face with a range of exhibitors and services.

Stallholders will include education and training providers, employers, private training establishments, employment training organisations, government agencies, health and social change organisations.
