Applications are now open for Graduation and will close at 5pm on Friday 26 April.
All eligible graduands will be notified by email by 5 April.
All eligible graduands, both those attending in person and those wishing to graduate in absentia (receive their award via post) must apply in order to receive their qualification certificates.

Registration of attendance for those attending the ceremony in person
Once your application to graduate has been accepted it is very important that you register your arrival at the Whakatāne campus during Graduation week. Here you will pick up your gown/regalia and kai wristbands.
Upon arrival at the registration desk, we will check:
- your name and iwi affiliations.
- the name of the programme you are graduating from;
- if you have ordered and paid for your regalia (gown);
- that you have no outstanding fees or overdue library books; and
- invite you to complete a brief programme/graduate destination survey
Registrations close at 7pm on Thursday 9 May.
Graduating in absentia
- If you wish to graduate in absentia and receive your certificate in the mail, you will still need to complete an application.
- You will be posted your certificate following the graduation ceremony.
- You must ensure your address details are correct as your certificate will be mailed to the address you provided at the time of enrolment. If your address details need updating, please contact us.
