We are looking for an experienced Lecturer to teach and co-ordinate papers and related responsibilities of the post-graduate doctorate programme, including doctoral supervision. 

As a part of the academic staff you will be responsible for contributing to supervision of PhD theses.  The successful candidate must be willing to travel and help in the continued development of the papers and curriculum at masters and doctorate level. 

Our successful applicants will have:

·        A PhD qualification,

·        Tertiary teaching experience at post-graduate level, and experience supervising thesis students,

·        A teaching qualification, adult teaching preferred,

·        Experience monitoring, assessing and delivering Matauranga Māori, Kaupapa Māori, Te Reo Māori and/or Indigenous Studies and related papers and coordinating papers or programmes at post graduate level,

·        Demonstrated record of research and publications relevant to your discipline,

·        A current unrestricted private motor vehicle licence.

Knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Te Reo Māori capability is desired to be successful in the role.
