In 1998, we pursue, along with Te Wānanga o Raukawa and Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, a claim against the Crown to the Waitangi Tribunal for Capital underfunding.
We win our case and use the money to build a library, noho centre, student common room and administration building.
We expand and open campuses in Tai Tokerau and Tamāki Makaurau. Our student numbers grow to over 10 000 per year.
