We are seeking an Academic Administrator to support our School of Undergraduate Studies.  This role reports to the Personal Assistant/Team Leader and is part of a team of administrators supporting certificate, diploma and degree level courses.  Our Academic Administrators provide high quality administration to our academic teams and ensure a positive experience for students who choose to learn with us.

 

The Academic Administrator provides programme-related administration associated with enrolment functions, including programme enquiries and applications.  This position is fixed term to provide maternity cover.

 

Our successful applicant will have:

  • A relevant administration or computing related L2 certificate qualification or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years previous administration and/or secretarial experience.
  • Minute taking experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional customer service experience/abilities
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
  • A full clean driver’s licence.

 

Being well-organised with flexibility and great interpersonal skills.  Knowledge of tikanga Māori and the ability to korero Te Reo Māori to at least a level 2 competency is desirable, or open to learning. We offer a supportive working environment.
