Available: Limited to 8 Applicants – 6 for Semester One and 2 for Semester Two.

 

Value:

Valued at full fees for 2019. This scholarship will be credited towards paying the full fees of the successful applicant’s programme of study and credited directly into their fees account. However, if the recipient is a full-time staff member of Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi and has already been granted professional development funds towards his or her fees, they will be granted the outstanding balance of the fee only.

Purpose of Award

The purpose of the award is to support tauira enrolled in a Master’s degree at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi, and who have completed a minimum of four Masters papers, to complete a full-time thesis.

 

Eligibility

Candidates for the scholarship must be;

  • enrolled full-time in a Master’s degree programme at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi; and are
  • ready to work on a thesis, AND
  • a New Zealand citizen; OR a New Zealand permanent resident currently living in New Zealand

 

Criteria:

Recipients are to be selected on the following criteria:

  • Enrolled full time in a Master’s Degree by thesis programme at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi by 28 February 2019
  • Submission of an Enrolment Confirmation Letter for the relevant Master’s degree by thesis programme
  • Submission of verified academic results to show successful academic achievement across four Masters Papers.
  • GPA ranking based on Masters papers.
