Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi congratulates Kim Adamson, Lecturer at the NZ Radio Training School/Te Kura Pāpāho o te Motu – part of Awanuiārangi – for being recognised for his ‘Outstanding Contribution to Radio’ at the 2021 NZ Radio Awards.

The Wellington region (including Wairarapa and the Kapiti Coast to Ōtaki), will move to Alert Level 2 from 6pm tonight until 11.59pm on Sunday.

We have been experiencing issues with our online enrolment application form. This issue has now been resolved.

Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is pleased to announce that the NZ Radio Training School (NZRTS) is now under the custodianship of Awanuiārangi and together, will be delivering the NZ Diploma in Radio Broadcasting (Level 5) at a tertiary level, as well as the STAR and Gateway programmes for secondary schools.

We are privileged to be able to enjoy the freedoms that come with Alert Level 1. However, as the recent border cases in Auckland have shown, we all need to remain vigilant and continue to follow the ‘three Ss’

We are really looking forward to celebrating the achievements of our tauira, kanohi ki te kanohi at our Graduation Ceremonies next week

The Auckland Region has joined the rest of Aotearoa at Alert Level 1 from midday Friday 12 March. The Alert Levels will be reviewed by Cabinet as needed.

The Auckland Region will move to Alert Level 2 from 6am on Sunday 8 March, and the rest of Aotearoa will move to Alert Level 1 at the same time. 

Our Whakatāne Campus is closed for the day and kaimahi and tauira are to head home. Kaiako will be in touch with tauira if needed and communicate any changes to programme delivery.

The Auckland Region has returned to Alert Level 3, and the rest of New Zealand to Alert Level 2, for seven days. The Government will re-assess the Alert Levels over the week, and we will provide a further update to kaimahi and tauira then.
