Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a vibrant and exciting tertiary education institution which offers a range of programmes from certificates to doctorates across a range of disciplines.  Our programmes are delivered at three main sites in Whakatāne, Tāmaki Makaurau, and Whangārei, and at off-site locations including marae venues throughout the country.  Our delivery modes include classroom learning, noho marae, Wānanga, and online (eWānanga) during weekdays, in the evening, and on weekends.

 

As Programme Administrator, you will provide high-quality programme-related administration associated with core Academic and Enrolment functions including programme enquiries and applications, and admissions, as well as providing programme administration supporting students engaged in study within a school.

 

This will be a challenging and rewarding position for someone with at least 2 years previous administration experience who also has:

 

  • 2 years previous administration experience
  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Previous experience with financial administration, that is, raising purchase orders and follow up work
  • Minute taking experience
  • The ability to speak and communicate clearly with the public
  • Intermediate level skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel

 

Knowledge of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori to at least an intermediate level and/or a willingness and commitment to upskill in this area is required.
