Programme Overview
Level of Study: 4
This certificate programme provides students with the foundation knowledge to move on to either degree-level study or career pathways. It is designed as a stepping stone from Te Aka ki te Wānanga, allowing students to build on and apply the skills learnt previously.
The programme seeks to develop students’ understanding of community, culture and communication, creating a solid foundation for future study. Ako ki te Wānanga aims to reinforce students’ confidence within Te Ao Māori (the Māori world) by continuing to build upon existing understanding.
