Matahihiko offers a unique learning environment especially suited to and designed
for elderly learners (pakeke). Classes are structured in a way that encourages
and fosters genuine learning for pakeke, and include opportunities to revisit
and reinforce learnt concepts. Matahihiko offers pakeke the chance to engage in
the digital world of their mokopuna/grandchildren.

School leavers must produce their academic record. However, entry to the
programme is at the discretion of Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi and is based
on a number of criteria of which academic record is contributory only. |

well as consolidating earlier learning, Pakeke will be introduced to a range of
