PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

This programme is intended for people who seek to be engaged in the management, leadership and administration of their marae communities. Graduates of this programme will be able to apply a broad range of management, leadership and administration skills to support their whānau, hapū, iwi and marae communities. You will also improve your knowledge, understanding and skills of how to participate in the cultural, social and economic development of marae communities.

Description:

Tauira will learn about rangatiratanga including mentoring, tuakana teina relationships and leadership in the context of cultural, social and economic development in marae communities (or equivalent).

Description:

Tauira will demonstrate mana whenua through learning about meeting and administration skills relevant to a marae setting (or equivalent).

Tauira will have a demonstrated abilities in financial literacy relevant to people involved in the cultural, social and economic development of a marae setting or equivalent.
