The Programmes section of this website has information on each course of study. It includes application closing dates, class start dates, fees and entry requirements. When you have decided on your course of study, contact our Student Services team for an enrolment pack. The pack includes an enrolment form and a list of what information to provide when you return the completed form. All sections of the form must be completed and returned with all the required documentation before the closing date.
What happens to your enrolment application?
Once we have received your enrolment form and supporting documentation we will check that it is complete and a letter of acknowledgement will be sent to you. You may also be asked to attend an interview for a pre-enrolment assessment. Staff will assess your application and, if successful, an ‘Offer of Placement’ will be made to you.
If you accept the ‘Offer of Placement’ you will be sent an acceptance letter confirming course details and start and finish dates. If your programme has fees attached, an enrolment invoice outlining all costs will accompany your acceptance letter.
How to enrol in a marae-based programme
The first step to becoming part of our marae-centred learning network is to attend a presentation at Awanuiārangi. These are held on the first Tuesday of every month at the Whakatāne campus. Alternatively, a staff member will visit your marae to talk with you about our programmes. For more information, contact the School of Iwi Development on 0508 92 62 64.
For all international enquiries contact our Student Services team on 0508 92 62 64.
Where the number of students enrolling in a programme fails to reach the minimum viability number for the programme, the programme may be cancelled.
