About Me
Linda is originally from Palmerston North. Career highlights include co-managing own business as well as lecturing at the tertiary level in New Zealand, South Africa and England.
In January 2004, after five years as a Programme Leader at Anamata PTE, Linda joined the newly formed computing faculty at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi and lectured in computing, education and foundation studies. In July 2007 a new student support team was formed and Linda was appointed as the Team Leader of Awhi Tauira Student Support with a team of three staff.
Presently completing the Masters of Indigenous Studies with Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi researching and exploring the question of identity.
Teaching Responsibilities
Current teaching responsibilities include individual and group tuition for Awhi Tauira Student Support as well as lecturing in the School of Undergraduate Studies in the Bachelor of Education.
Research Interests
Research interests include completing the thesis for the Masters of Indigenous Studies. Topic based on the exploration of identity and ethnicity
