We are looking for an administrative assistant for this busy role.  As part of the School of Indigenous Graduate Studies administration team you will be providing administrative support as well as undertaking general office duties.

This role involves the general management of inward and outward correspondence, greeting and assisting visitors and prospective students and customer responsive telephone services are key tasks.

Ideally you will have:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint applications efficiently.
  • Excellent data input skills and touch typing expertise.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

Administration experience in a tertiary institution would be an advantage.  Knowledge of tikanga Māori and the ability to kōrero Te Reo Māori is desirable.
